Re: John Lennon Wall in Prague « Result #2 Yesterday at 9:51pm »
Thanks for the pictures, Euan. I've been to Prague but it was 7 or 8 years ago and I didn't know about the wall then so I didn't see it. I wish I had seen it - I'll have to go to Prague again sometime.

Re: Is Double Fantasy equal to Imagine? « Result #4 on Dec 5, 2009, 11:31pm »
The Imagine album is John's second greatest masterpiece as a solo artist after JLPOB. Double Fantasy is a great commercial album, but Sometime In NYC is much better, because it's more edgy.
Hello Jessincka. That was a great intro. My love for John is so deep that I never ever go a day without thinking of him. He was my first true hero just for his voice alone and then I learned as the years went by what a wonderful remarkable man he was. I still cry when I view his videos on youtube.

Re: Let It Be - DVD PLEASE! « Result #10 on Dec 4, 2009, 4:09pm »
There will be a Tiger Woods sex tape or a Michael Jackson sex tape before Let It Be is ever released on DVD or anything else in the future. I agree with you 100% about the LIB album being underrated, it's a great classic rock album & the documentary is a gem. They should release the movie, along with the original album & call about 9 others the outtakes, as a box set, if it ever gets released. I saw Let It Be on bootleg video about 20 years ago & it's too bad some fans will never see it.

Just returened from a trip to Prague visited the John Lennon Wall, some bits were nice some folk lay candles by it some put inapropriate stuff on. Next to the wall there is a cafe called John & George's which was sadly disapointing, there was no connection with John or George at all no music or pictures etc.

Re: Former Beatles manager Allen Klein dead « Result #16 on Dec 3, 2009, 7:30pm »
John should have listened to Jagger about Klein, in the first place & maybe Paul's father in-law wouldn't have been so bad. What would have solved the problem possibly would have been if the Beatles would have gotten Robert Stigwood as their manager. They wouldn't have gone through the financial mess, they went through with Apple, that's still going on I believe. If Allen Klein wouldn't have been in the picture, the possibility of the band staying together, at least for a while longer, is something to think about.

What are your best & worst Christmas memories? « Result #17 on Dec 3, 2009, 5:28pm »
Since we're in the holiday season, at the moment, I'm sure everyone has great stories & being with relatives, isn't what its cracked up to be. My best memories of Christmas past growing up, back in the 70's, are going to see my Grandma, her home was my second home. I always got great presents, my mother's cousins gave me alright gifts, most of the time, even though I never asked them for anything. My late father's brother & sisters, with their kids, who are my cousins, were the worst of all at family reunions. I tried to give them a good time, but they always ruined it for me, with their attitude constantly & lack of respect. I remember cranking up Hi Hi Hi from Wings Over America, back in 76 & they were in my room acting bored to death. They're not worth the time of day as adults now, they're losers of the highest degree as people & if you see them in NC & SC, don't bother.

Re: How many pictures do you have? « Result #19 on Dec 3, 2009, 5:51am »
I just got into collecting Beatles/John Lennon photos so I don't have than many yet. I had been collecting photos of Julian Lennon but now I have all the one's that are big enough. I still collect recent photos of him though.
