IMPORTANT: Forum Rules « Thread Started on Apr 5, 2007, 7:38pm »
This forum is intended to be a place where John Lennon fans of all ages can 'come together' to discuss John and the Beatles, to make new friends and - most importantly - to have fun.
The forum is not password-protected, which means you're welcome to take a look around without registering - however, only members are allowed to post. There are also lots of other great features which are only available to registered members.
Registering is quick and easy - just click 'register' at the top of the page and follow the instructions. Being a member means that you agree to obey the following rules:
1) Please respect the opinions and feelings of other members. It's okay to disagree with another person's comments - but please do so in a polite, respectful manner. If you insult, abuse or threaten another member, you will receive a warning. Any member who continues to cause trouble after being warned may be banned from the forum at the administrator's discretion.
2) Personal attacks on any of the Beatles or their family members will not be tolerated.
3) When starting a new thread please try to post it in the correct area of the forum. In particular, you should try to keep all off-topic posts in the "Well, Well, Well" section.
4) No spamming is allowed! Any spam posted on this forum will be deleted. By 'spamming' I mean people who have joined the forum with no intention of talking about John Lennon or the Beatles and who repeatedly post messages that are of no interest to any other members of the forum.
5) It's okay to post links to your own websites or message boards but please do so in the "Across The Universe" section.
6) If you experience any problems at all, please contact the administrator (me) by private message.
These rules are subject to change at any time.

Additions to Forum Rules (3 August 2008)
7) If you register more than one account with different usernames please remember that Proboards allows the forum admin to detect multiple accounts.
Using multiple accounts to post spam or abusive messages will definitely lead to you being banned from the forum.
8) Karma - You may notice that every member has a Karma rating. When you are logged into the forum you have the option to Exalt them (increase their Karma) or Smite them (decrease their Karma). Please do not use multiple accounts to exalt yourself or to repeatedly smite other members for no reason.
Please also be aware that every time you exalt or smite someone it is recorded in the forum security log.
Unfortunately, I have had to ban somebody today for repeatedly breaking both of these rules. Hopefully it will be the first and last time I have to do that.
