A great compilation album from John, that's sadly forgotten over 35 years later & a classic album cover as well. It was in my record collection, at the time, but it doesn't exist anymore. It was a perfect ending for him, before retiring from music for 5 years, to release SF for the fans. The only downside, about this Lennon greatest hits collection, was that Give Peace A Chance was shortened a bit. Shaved Fish was great because it defined him as a solo artist, with all the hits, in those days.

I agree, I'm glad to have a copy in my collection.

There has been so many compilations over the years, I guess there has been no need for it. Many people want the Double Fantasy songs included.

I remember getting Shaved Fish for Christmas when the album first came out. It was my first introduction to JL as a solo artist - I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Up until that that point I hadn't heard Instant Karma, #9 Dream, Mind Games or Cold Turkey! I played the record none-stop throughout my Christmas school holidays.
