Assuming that most of us would name the Beatles as our number one band of the 1960s, who is your second favourite?
I've listed a few for you to choose from but feel free to make your own suggestions.
I like the Kinks, followed by the Doors.

This is a difficult one as all of the bands are good, I voted for the Kinks as well, I think in hindsight they came the closest to the Beatles in terms of songs that stand up today and they describe the English Psyche perfectly.

I voted Floyd, but that's mainly because it's the mood I'm in at the the moment. Other days I prefer the Stones, or the Kinks, the Doors or whichever other band is listed

I voted Rolling Stones although we all know that no one comes close to the Beatles but the Rolling Stones come in good second.

I must say that I love them all. Of course, the Beatles will be my faves 4ever, but I think that almost everything from the 60's is great I'll say Rolling Stones, but they all rock!

All of the above are awesome. I picked the Who because I absolutely adore Roger Daltrey's vocals. (not to mention that Ringo's son has been their drummer for the last 8 years or so) I guess next would be a tie between the Kinks and the Stones and Floyd...oh, and the Beach Boys, too... like I said, I love them all! The 60s just rock musically...period.
