I just "discovered" a couple of John Lennon songs... #9 Dream and Nobody Loves You. I had them on my computer and listened to them for a little while and didn't really like them. When I had some time on my hands I decided to listen to Lennon songs. Now I just love them. Here's where some Lennon songs are on my iTunes "Top 25 Played Songs"...
#4 Watching the Wheels (81 plays) #6 Love (78 plays) #10 Mother (69 plays) #11 Out the Blue (67 plays) #15 Stand By Me (62 plays) #17 Only You (60 plays) #18 Imagine (59 plays) #23 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (55 plays) #24 Woman (55 plays)

I love all of them honestly. There are many songs that I could call my favourite. I like Woman and I'm Losing You - Double Fantasy version a lot though.

Recently, I have taken a newfound interest in 'Oh My Love'
The song is just so beautiful. It is just one of those songs you turn up, it just takes over your soul and you feel it. Although, most Lennon songs are like this.
The simplicity of the song, adds to its beauty, complexity and authenticity. It is just so clear, as if he has had an epiphany.
One of Lennon's greatest gifts was to take a personal experience and make it seem universal. He had a way of being so brutally honest and captivating at the same time.

I usually tend to listen to 'Mind Games' nowadays. Don't have a clue why, though.
