A few weeks ago I read a novel by Cynthia simply titled 'John'. It was about her experiences with him and the Beatles, before during and after. It also talks about Julian, and has a foreword by him which I find very interesting. I found it difficult to read because, John wasn't as glorious as people think he was. He is my favorite, but there are parts of his history that were very dark and just... awful. I don't want to go into too much detail, but he sometimes was abusive verbally and physically. Cynthia almost left him before they got married, but didn't. It was a heart wrenching book, and I encourage anybody to read it if they can. Has anybody here read it? Fine Line - Paul McCartney

Similar to the first Cyn's book, "A twist of LENNON", but with more REAL facts. Cyn said she had to hide some facts in her first book because that way JOHN would give his approval for the book to be published. In this book Cyn decided to write about the real JOHN and I am grateful she did!

I read it and I enjoyed it. John and Cynthia were a cute couple. The fact she went back to John after leaving him briefly shows me she truely loved him and I think she still does in her own way.

It would be understandable if she still loved him. After being married to him, putting up with him, sharing certain special things with him, witnessing his moments of weakness and happiness, I'm sure she couldn't ever not love him at least a little.

This is one of the best books I've read. It's so touching and memorable! I read it real fast, you know, as Mrs. O'Boogie uses to say 'You're a fast reader'. Indeed. In one word... WOW. I'm speechless, guys. Now I want to read 'A Twist Of Lennon'!

Exelent book indeed. I have A Twist of Lennon, but I have not started it yet. I needed a time off before reading more about John some of Cyn's confessions give me mixed feelings. However, at the end I loved John even more, with his bad and his good. But ,you already know that about me.

I can understand your mixed feelings, Mrs. O'Boogie. Reality is never that perfect thing we always picture, and although we know John had his flaws, it's still hard to accept them at times. It's a difficult process, but not impossible at all. Some people experienced some mixed feelings due to the fact that the book is so powerful itself, so you're not the only one. Taking some time off is a great measure - after all, time heals all wounds. However, at the end of this so called process, you'll get to know John better and love him more. So all I can tell you is don't worry, take your time, don't rush into things if you're not ready. You'll know when the time is right - rushing things can't be good.

I read John...and I really enjoyed it. It made me a little sad as I was reading it... John and Cyn made such a sweet couple and it made me want to wish for a different ending...even though I already knew before I read it that he ends up with Yoko.

It's my favourite book ever. I found it difficult to read too, but some parts I really loved, like all the stories of John and Cyn dating in the late 50s is really cool and interesting. It seems like a nice time to be young, and I think her book totally represents that. Also, it's really nice to hear from Cyn cos I really like and admire her
