Yeah, I love his humor too. Wherever John is, he's probably looking down at us and thinking about how glad he is that he's not on this planet.

I agree with everything everyone has said! John was certainly a great man! I think what I like most about John is his music (I guess that's obvious ) and how he stood up for what he believed in. He didn't care what people thought about him, he just followed his heart. I just admire him so much!

I love John's music, his words, his humor and his ability to speak and portray his thoughts so eloquently yet simplistically enough for anyone to understand. I love his sometimes quirky mannerisms, his way of giggling when he laughed, his temper and the fact that he wasn't perfect or even felt the need to be. I love his infectious smile, that mischievous twinkle in his eyes, his regal nose and the way he moved when he performed on stage. I love that I learned to play guitar by watching his fingers on the frets of his old Rickenbacker. I love the fact that he was terribly nearsighted and didn't like wearing contact lenses. It's another part of him that I can relate to.
I love that I can still feel his spirit all around me...and it's a good one, too, not surprisingly. He was a rare gift in this life, and he is a warm comforting soul in the afterlife. The man that he was and is, continues to inspire generations. That's an impact that very few can lay claim to.
I also love that he didn't want to be worshipped, but just wanted to live, love and be loved...
And he is loved.

All the people who were standing outside the Dakota building to pay their respects after they heard he was murdered proves how much he was loved. All the tributes to him proves how much he's still loved.

Great style, he had a great humor, perfect voice and songs!!!! IN ONE WORD - EVERYTHING!!! Have you notice that in most of his performances he is chewing gum while singing?
