magazines are always having top 10 greatest songs polls, and it's always a different 10 songs every time, so no, these polls have no meaning at all. But I'm still glad SFF is there...I'm suprised Imagine isnt.

Has anyone out there encountered a problem with cd's where it appears the inside of the cd is eaten by a worm? Sounds daft doesn't it, but I have had problems with one or two over the years and it makes the disc unusable. You can imagine my dismay when I found that my copy of McCartney had succumbed. I have had it for about 18 years but I seem to remember the cd manufacturers promising a lifetime of listening enjoyment. Luckily I have been able to replace the album already, phew, but was interested in finding out if anyone else has encountered this problem.

I was reading a question and answer section on a newspaper's website this morning and someone was asking if John Lennon's wife was the actress Cynthia Pepper. The reply was "Same name, different woman. Lennon's first wife was named Cynthia Pepper, but the Cynthia Pepper you're asking about was born Cynthia Culpepper. She appeared on a fair number of 1960s TV shows, including "My Three Sons" and "The Flying Nun." I sent them an email about it.

It's just that it's still so new, and I'm trying to make it a success. I know it's been a year since nowheregirl posted that, but I just wanted to say that when I was browsing for some Beatles/John pictures on Google, I found two pictures that redirected me to this forum! So I think this forum has done well and it certainly is a success! ;D

I'm a terrible insomniac who can't turn my mind off, so I sometimes don't sleep for days, and when I do finally sleep, I wake up after only a few hours. Any helpful suggestions other than potentially lethal substances or acts?

I've tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to make any difference.

I've tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to make any difference. Same here. I've had people buy me CDs that give off vibrations that are supposedly gonna 'hum' me to sleep. I've used various sound effects, in fact. Warm milk, no milk, hot milk with nutmeg (it's supposed to be a natural drug ), every kind of pain med containing a sleep aid that I can get my grubby little hands on, and recently my doctor prescribed sleeping pills (a last resort for me), but still....nothing. Sorry to hear you have the same problem NWG. If I come across something that actually works, I'll be sure to pass the news along.

Another question. How do you all put pictures on your I.D. thing on the side of the screen?
