I believe Double Fantasy is a great album, John's most commercial one as a solo artist & Yoko's best work is on DF as well. Imagine is creatively, musically & artistically above it, from the first track to the last one, there is no comparison. It's been almost 30 years since Double Fantasy was released, there are some great tracks from Lennon & it deserves all the praise, but Imagine is the gem.

I've said this before. If you combined all of John's songs on Double Fantasy & Milk And Honey and made one cd, you would have an album that is equal to Imagine.

I didn't like milk and honey that much. As far as double fantasy, there are a handful of good songs as well as imagine. I think they're pretty equal. The song imagine has run its course for me, its a great song yes, but being a JL fan, thats the song you are most exposed to, me since I was a little kid. I like Walls and Bridges more. On imagine, gimmie some truth and how to you sleep on Imagine, some are too sappy for me, but they are still good.

The Imagine album is John's second greatest masterpiece as a solo artist after JLPOB. Double Fantasy is a great commercial album, but Sometime In NYC is much better, because it's more edgy.

In no particular order, this is Double Fantasy and Milk and Honey combined.
Just Like Starting Over Watching the Wheels I’m Stepping Out Woman Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy) Nobody Told Me Cleanup Time Dear Yoko I’m Losing You I Don’t Wanna Face It (Forgive Me) My Little Flower Princess Borrowed Time Grow Old With Me
Now, personally, the only disuputed track is (Forgive Me) My Little Flower Princess. Apart from that, every track is solid.

I've never been a big fan of Yoko's musical contributions to John's albums.. she sort of weighs down DF for me.. but if you toss her tracks and combine all John's from DF and M&H, then it has a pretty solid claim to be his best. However, Imagine still may have it IMO. and really, the Lennon album I listen to most is Walls and Bridges. thats probably my fav. But that combo DFM&H is pretty nice

Walls & Bridges is a good album, it's not a masterpiece, but it's still a classic. Imagine is John's second gem after JLPOB, he never surpassed them at all & Double Fantasy is a great commercial album.

I like them both about the same, they are pretty equal.
