No, I haven't downloaded it and I'm not planning to. In Germany downloading sometimes is harder castigated than bodily harm But I will definitely purchase the DVD

lovinlennon, that's completely true! There's also so much non-official stuff for sale too.. Today I saw a pillow with "IMAGINE - you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one" .. though, it was only the lyrics and it costs 15 euro's. Therefore, I did not buy it :-P (I can write these lyrics myself, too...)

I think John's work and legacy has become exploited considerably, especially by the those that just want to make money from his memory by association, from pictures, postcards, and prints of John's drawings (that have been coloured in, with water colours?!); his music (Nike); Car Adverts etc etc.. it's shame, but I guess the same could be said about any great artist? I think it keeps their memory alive, and introduces them to new generations, but one does get a feeeling that it's just for commercial purposes, and financial gain!

Well... I just finished watching it (the magic of google videos hehehe) and I must say... I'm very impressed. When I saw a photo of the actor portraying him, I thought, "Nah. I don't see it." But I must say, he did a fabulous job. I'm still a little overwhelmed by it all...

I watched it a 2nd time with my niece last night... Yes, it has my stamp of approval. Nothing phony or corny about this film at all. It's raw.

Yeah, that's what I say, too. When I first saw a photo of this young fellow I also thought that he won't be able to do this job as it's supposed to be done but in the end he was great.

I've seen it twice so far on DVD (wish I could have seen it in theaters). I love it. Very well done. Sooo incredibly sad though. I want to own it eventually.

Hi I wished I could have seen it in theaters too. I haven't seen it yet but I think I will buy the DVD, although it seems to be quite sad... Snoopy
