Heya everyone, As we're all Lennon fans, I guess I can assume that we're all sharing the love for peace and freedom. What I was wondering, how far does your fight for freedom go? Do you wear a suit/dress for "important" occasions, or are you just going to be yourself - dressing like yourself - thinking we're all equal? I'm really curious how "hippie" you guys are. This counts for me:As I am into IT, I also know quite a lot about software and its licenses. About the bigger companies out there and their ridiculous rules and statements. I like to think I am what they call a hacker (noo, no - I do NOT break into computer systems for a living, that'd be a cracker. More of that here). I pursue the right of "freedom" of software. Therefore, the software I run is open source. Think of that like getting a recipe for a pie from your neighbor. Would it not be ridiculous if you could not adjust that recipe to your personal preferences, or actually read it in the first place? Looking at Microsoft and Apple (Hmm, I've heard that name before...), they release (mostly) closed-source software. You can not take a look at the source-code, nor adjust it. Because I disagree with this, I use only open-source software. I run GNU/Linux Ubuntu (you might have heard about this) as Operating System, and so on.. and so on. Well, folks - give me your stories! I'm really interested in what you have to share ^_^

Well, I'd call myself a Mod (or Mocker since I also love 50s music) so wearing a suit or something like that isn't an unusual thing to me But if someone says: 'don't do it, for me it didn't work out' I answer: 'so let ME try it and find out'. Or an everyday example. My girlfriend always is like 'what?! You need another guitar?? Don't you have enough guitars in the meantime?' and my answer always is 'Yes another guitar. Not because I need it, but because I WANT it!'. And of course many people judge me because I'm a lefty (political) but I don't give a sh*t

I dress as myself and be nothing other than myself. I'm not going to be something I'm not.
I believe that everyone is equal. It just requires certain individuals to enlighten others. To make them see the light. And I'll do that in conversations with people. And I do get political. Making posters with slogans, and hanging them up around Uni and so on.
I have an opinion and that is my right. Like John, I will not be silenced - because I care.

Well, I'm thirteen and I basiclly wear whatever I'm in the mood for. Somedays I'll wear a hippy beaded handband and other days I'll wear jeans and a t-shirt. I don't think wearing certin clothes has anything to do with being a hippy. It's what's on the inside that counts.

The finest way to find-out about lil' ole
is to visit my blog (see signature) or watch one of me videos, e.g.,
Methinks John would really dug that vid, in a "Don't Believe" sort-a way.
