Abbey Road, to me, is one of the most beautiful records I've ever heard. It's just such...a stunning evolution, y'know? Like, you listen to their first singles, songs like Love Me Do and She Loves You, and then turn on Oh! Darling or I Want You or The End, and...it's just mind-blowing, that within the space of ten years something so incredible happened to get from such a point A to point B...to me, I wish it had been released after Let It Be. It's such a much more meaningful swansong, don't you think?
Abbey Road is just...genius. Every second of it.

Such a hard decision...to choose only ONE!! I chose Sgt. Pepper because that album sort of rang it their era of better songwriting (in my opinion). I love them from beginning to end, of course, but I think from Sgt. Pepper on, their songs just became so much more thoughtful and interesting.

Bah! I couldn't decide even if someone forced me too lol. My Mom was a big fan of the More poppy less rock Beatles, She never really listened to anything "Help!".. So I ended up having to 'discover' the rest myself.. The three albums I've listened to the Most is: The White Album, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Abbey Road, and Magical Mystery Tour.

I love all of their work, you know? I said earlier in this thread that The White Album is my favourite, but it’s tied with Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band for me. Sgt Pepper's just has a magical, carnival like sound that is enthralling. Lennon features quite heavily on it as well. Abbey Road is a very solid album as well.

The White Album is creatively, musically & artistically the Beatles ultimate masterpiece. I got it for Christmas, back in 76 & it knocked me out, no doubt about it. I have to admit, I dig the late 60's era of the group, with their longer hair, more outspoken attitude & kick butt rock & roll.

Overall top 3 would be:
1. Revolver - To me this was the true introduction of The Beatles true potential in psychedelia, songs like Tomorrow Never Knows were real eye openers. 2. Abbey Road - The Beatles were way ahead (As they were with most of their albums) with this one the sound they created was magnificent especially as one song leads into another. 3. White Album - This showed the talent not only of Lennon-McCartney but also Harrison and also Starr, George I think wrote the strongest song on this album, the beautiful While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
I'm not a huge fan of Yellow Submarine but I adore Hey Bulldog.

A Hard Day's Night is my favorite because John sings lead on 9 out of the 13 songs. His voice is what I fell in love with from the very beginning. My second favorite is Rubber Soul followed by the White Album.
