John Lennon would have turned 75 on October 9th, 2015. It's difficult to imagine the beautiful music he would have created and how much more good he could have done if he were still alive today. But we must celebrate the short years he gave the world, and while we do this every day by playing his songs and sharing his wisdom, the 75th anniversary of his birth is a perfect chance to 'come together' and remember his talent. Yoko Ono and the photographer Bob Gruen have kindly given the artist Russell Marshall - a huge Lennon fan - permission to use an iconic image of John to create a special piece of anniversary art. And to launch it, Marshall is holding a one-off 'bed in' for Lennon fans from October 9th-16th 2015, at the Beautiful Crime Gallery in Shoreditch, London. It's free to the public so please feel free to come along to celebrate Lennon's birthday and life. You can watch a short film about Marshall, Lennon and the famous photograph and find full details of the 'bed in' here: russellmarshallart.com vimeo.com/140438538It would be really nice to see you there if you can make it. Feel feel to share info about this event. Tina Campanella Beautiful Crime tinacampanella@me.com
