Hi,
I know which shirt you mean, but I've never seen anywhere that sells replicas. All I can suggest is looking in your nearest army surplus store, though I know you wouldn't be able to get one exactly the same...sorry I can't be more help.

I know that people at Beatlefest frequently are seen wearing one. I think they made their own. I will ask around.

I'd suggest going to an army surplus and buying the basic shirt to embellish yourself. I've seen replicas of his patches on eBay from time to time. Last week, I had the opportunity to hold John's original shirt. It was electric!

Just bought a U.S Army shirt. I have two ''Bundeswehr'' patches at home and I'll add them to the shirt. Maybe I'll buy a ''Lennon New York days-style hat'' (long word ) when I'm in Paris in two weeks. Hey, I could become a Lennon impersonator

Hello again,
today I did some research on the internet and found some information on his shirt. He bought this shirt second hand and it used to be an US Army shirt during the Korean War. It is 100% Cotton and the patches are the two typical Sergeant patches and one Indianhead patch (2ND Infantry Division). You don't find many replics of the shirt because it has never been produced as a fan product. If you want a shirt like this you'll have to get an US Army shirt and the patches. Well, today was my lucky day-I found all the patches on eBay and bought them (of course^^). As soon as the patches arrive I will add them to my army shirt and post some pics of it.
Regards

Thanks, that's interesting. I hadn't been able to find any information about the shirt anywhere. I'd love to see a picture of your shirt when you've put the patches on it.

That looks great! The one I make won't look that good because I got a new US Army Shirt and I don't have the patch on the pocket... And dude, these patches are damn expensive, I paid 17 Euros just for these 3 little patches. The funny thing about the price: The shirt cost the same Hey, Imagine, where do you come from? You could make whole lotta money by selling these Shirts on eBay!

Hey im gladd you like it, most of my patches i have found on ebay, the only one i could not find was the pocket patch at first. the pocket patch is an "imjin scouts" patch, i had to find it online after checking numerous army surplus stores, as for the shirts......i have been searching for the shirts for a very long time and i am a picky person, This shirt is an original army fatigue shirt, and i have another one hanging in my closet. as soon as i recieve my sergeant stripes patches i will make the second one. Original shirts in decent condition are hard to come by, i just got lucky. each shirt cost me about 50 bux to put together.

Thank you! I've seen some Shirts on eBay but the were either in a very bad condition or the size was Small I need the patch on the pocket, but if it's even hard to find it within the USA, I won't find any patch like that in Germany... At last I won't be able to make an exact replic of his shirt, so let's call mine a ''John Lennon Tribute Shirt''
