What do you think was John's best vocal? I love his voice on every song he did, but some of my favourites are A Day in the Life, You've Really Got A Hold On Me, Girl, Bad Boy, I'm So Tired, It's Only Love, Help! and Money.
I know they're all Beatles songs…I think the one I like best from his solo career is Mother.

John had an amazing voice, whether he was singing a rock and roll song, or a gentle ballad. I agree with all the choices that have been mentioned so far. I also like Leave My Kitten Alone (on Anthology 1), Twist and Shout, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away and the intro to Mr Moonlight.

I agree with you... But I always feel pity for him when I listen Twist and Shout because I know his throat was hurting A LOT when he was singing that song. Also, it doesn't really help that Emma and I always call the song err... Wank and Shout xD (just change the word shout into wank and listen, it sounds all right! BWAAHA *gigglefit* I'm sorry, the meds I'm on, oh man! xD )

I thought of another one I like that I forgot about - Don't Let Me Down. He puts so much emotion into it, and I love the "I'm in love for the first time" part in the middle.

How do you Sleep?
Watching the video of him singing it, you can tell he really put his all into it. It was personal.
I can see myself getting worked up and angry after a fued, and making a retort in the public domain.
