Do you ever hear a John Lennon song on the radio (not including internet radio)? I don't very often and when I do it's usually Imagine.

I don't listen to the radio very much anymore. I only really listen to it when I'm in the car. They do play John's songs sometimes - I hear Imagine a lot.

Pretty rare on the radio, unfortunately. But today I was lucky to see the video of ''Jealous Guy'' on VH1. That's cool.Frankly speakin',I haven't seen it for ages on TV.

Not much. It is a deep shame, just because of his tragic death we are robbed of hearing them.

I sometimes hear one of his more famous songs such as Imagine, Jealous Guy or Instant Karma but that's not very often.

Can't remember the last time I heard a Lennon song on the radio, it's a shame that they no longer view quality as essential to good listening. I used to hear Starting over fairly regularly when he was on, and Stand by me used to get a fair bit of airplay.

Yeah, the thing is the music is classic and pure gold. Just because he died in that way he isn't on radio as much.

I saw his "Slippin' and Slidin'" video from 1974 on VH1 Classic the other day, I thought that was pretty cool because it's not a very common song of his.

Slippin' and Slidin' is one of my favourites. He covered old rock songs, but added new life to them and made them his own.

Slippin' and Slidin' is one of my favourites. He covered old rock songs, but added new life to them and made them his own. That's one of the things I love about him as a solo artist and with the Beatles. The Beatles cover of Rock And Roll music and his cover of Ain't That S Shame are two of my favorite cover songs of all time.

What I also love, is the following.
When he recorded these classic songs, and cover songs, he just did it off the cuff. He was putting them off and they were mounting up. He just turned up to the recording studio and said, ok let's get these songs done. He had a small group of people with him and they did them.
This tells me something. Firstly, the difference between someone who is good is this. Someone who is good is afraid to win. Someone who is great is not afraid to lose. He just went for it and struck gold.

I changed my radio station this week as I was sick of the old one, what the hell, since then I have heard "Stand by me" and "Watching the wheels."
