PEACE POINTS - what are they?

You can now earn Peace Points for various things you do here at Come Together. There are lots of different ways to get Peace Points – some are easy and some are not so easy...

200 Peace Points for every new member! All you have to do is register and after you've posted your first message you'll receive your 200 points.

3 Peace Points every time you post a message. These are added automatically when you post.

5 Peace Points for each correct answer in the Trivia Quiz.

6 Peace Points when you post some pictures of John Lennon.

10 Peace Points for reviewing a John Lennon album. There's a place to do this in the Yer Blues section.

15 Peace Points for entering the Picture Caption Contest.

20 Peace Points when you post a drawing or a fan fic or poem.

50 Peace Points for making a suggestion which is then put into use.

100 Peace Points when you get a friend to register. The friends will have to introduce themselves and say that you referred them.

Just to explain a few things:

1) I've gone back and awarded points to everyone who has already posted pictures, fan fics etc.

2) I won't be awarding any extra points to myself apart from the ones I get by posting, because that's not really fair.

I've created a Peace Points sub-board in the Members Only Board, with a list of things you can buy with your Peace Points.

If anyone has any ideas for other things people could buy, please let me know.

This is a really awesome idea and from an Edu. major p.o.v it will def. give an incentive for more activity on the board! I know rewards work on 1st graders and that they work on me

Idea: 5 points for exalting somebody. You can see the exalts in the security log.
