I was reading a Paul McCartney interview where he says John told him he liked Paul's songs on Revolver better than his own.
What do you think?
Lennon songs: I'm Only Sleeping She Said She Said And Your Bird Can Sing Doctor Robert Tomorrow Never Knows
McCartney songs: Eleanor Rigby Here, There and Everywhere Yellow Submarine Good Day Sunshine For No One Got to Get You Into my Life
Harrison songs: Taxman Love You To I Want To Tell You

Wow, this is a hard choice. Revolver is probably my favorite album and I think Paul's best work is on it. I love every song on Revolver, with I'm Only Sleeping in my top 10 Beatles songs. But, I do think Paul has the upper hand, only because he has more songs that are especially good, like Eleanor Rigby, Here, There, and Everywhere, For No One, and Got To Get You Into my Life. I think John only has three especially good songs, I'm Only Sleeping, She Said She Said, and Tomorrow Never Knows. Also, George has great songs, too. Taxman is one of his best.

I actually prefer Johns songs to Paul on Revolver.

I think I still prefer John's work on Revolver... some of my favorite Paul songs are on Revolver, but none of them top "And Your Bird can Sing" "I'm Only Sleeping" and "She Said She Said"...not to mention "Tomorrow Never Knows" is amaaaaaaaaaazing...<3

I think they were pretty much equal on Revolver but John's songs appeal to me more than Pauls. I think I probably like John's songs better than Paul's on every album but they both wrote great songs, it just depends on your personal taste i suppose.
