Usually after 5 pints. I used to take the view that I would not widh to inflict my version on anyone although I was quite happy destroying Bowie or Elvis. However, I believe I have the nasal twang to carry off In My Life etc and I did do this in Poland recently.

Oh, yeah, several of them, but all of them from the songs he wrote while he was a Beatle: In My Life, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, Help!...

I've sung Imagine at the local Human Rights Festival when I performed with my dad and little sister when I was ten.
It was truly an amazing experience.

When I was at school (about 8 or 9 years old) we had a teacher who must have been a Beatles fan, because I remember she taught the whole class to sing Yellow Submarine, When I'm 64, With A Little Help From My Friends and a few other songs she probably thought would appeal to children. ;D I think that was the first time I heard all those songs. It would have been nice if all our teachers had been like that.

I wish my teachers would have been like that; it would be nice to have that sort of classes, you know, Beatlish ones.

My friends and I would parade down the halls at school singing, "Give Peace a Chance".

Yes. I'm at the end of the 7th grade, you see, so kids are cruel. They know I'm a mantra-loving atheist and one was damning me to hell, so I sang Imagine to her. She got mad at me, so I sang her Give Peace A Chance. It was fun for me!!

Aye, when my friends tease me and say 'Oh, you're just one of those Lennon loonies', I tend to scream 'All we are saying is GIVE PEACE A CHANCE'
