If John Lennon hadn't married Yoko, do you think he would still be alive? Do you think there would have been a Beatles reunion or even a new Beatles album/cd? Do you think he and Julian would have a great father/son relationship. They were just getting to know each other when John was killed. In the 1980 Playboy interview, John said that he and Jules would have a relationship in the future but of course it never was to be because he was murdered. I think John would be alive if he hadn't married Yoko. I think he would have tried to form a father/son relationship with Jules. I also think he would have felt guilty about how he treated him when he was a kid. Perhaps The Beatles would have gotten back together for a few reunion tours and even a new album/cd. Of course I'm just speculating.

The only thing I can say is that he would definitely try to get closer to Julian. All the rest is speculation, as you said. You can't mess with destiny, or faith, or whatever they call it. Whether he would still be alive or not... we'll never know.

I think he would be closer to Julian too. The rest we'll have to speculate.

Speculation may be a good thing, if you know what I mean. By picturing what he would have done, he can act like he would and still make this world as peaceful as ever, as John wanted, and honour his memory.

You have a good point there. I think John Lennon is out there somewhere in that big hippie commune in the sky looking down on us. I think he would be disappointed in the state of the world today and in the fact Hollywood only seems focused these days about his untimely death instead of his life. I read somewhere John would have been eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship in January of 1981. I think that's something he would have done. His four year battle to stay in the U.S. was proof he was here to stay. He could have gone back to England but he chose to stay here.

I agree, taylor. John would definitely be disappointed about the state our world is in. And the fact that people remember him for his tragic death, not his LIFE.

I agree. John would definately want to be remembered for his life and his contribution to world peace, not his tragic death.

I agree. John would definately want to be remembered for his life and his contribution to world peace, not his tragic death. John said 'imagine there's no heaven, no hunger' -We have to focus on the good aspects of life, otherwise we'd be off.

I think that John would still have moved to New York, even if Yoko hadn't come along (fate, you know). I really hate to say that, but it's how I feel. (Also, who's to say that MDC wouldn't have found John in England? Again, that's hard to say ) I think he would've become closer to Julian (That's if he had Sean with Yoko. It kind of depends on how you feel about the first question. If he hadn't married Yoko and lived, he might not have had Sean and realized how he wasn't a great father to Julian and then try to rectify the situation. If he married Yoko and lived, I think he would definitely be close with Julian.) And, I do think The Beatles would've have had at least a reunion, because the resentment from their breakup was already starting to disappear around the time John died Unfortunately, we'll never know the answers to these questions. I think we should just appreciate all that John, Paul, George, and Ringo have done for us and are still doing.

NYC was very appealing, so no wonder John would have moved anyway. He'd always said that NYC was one of the best cities in the world. I think the Beatles would have had a meeting, but not for commercial or musical purposes. I think they would have met to get to an agreement about their feelings. But I don't think they would have met to record another record, or whatever. There would have been too much pressure on them, and now that they were apart musically, they wouldn't be able to make it like they did before [this is what I think]. Sure, the songs would still be great, but the world was changing his music taste, and there was too much going on. But it would have worked!, but I don't think they were ready to get back.
