I am new here and not sure where to ask this, but I am hoping Lennon fans can shed some light upon this problem.
I have a vinyl LP that I can't find information about ANYWHERE. Nothing on ebay, I googled a dozen different phrases and couldn't find anything.
It is an album named "All We Need Is John". The vinyl itself has a very plain green label. All it says is (first line) "DOCTOR WINSTON O'BOOGIE" (second line) "On the Tomorrow Show" (third line) "Part 1" or "Part 2" depending on the side. In the center of the circle, on either side of the hole, it says "33 1/3 rpm" and "side 1" or "side 2" This is ALL it says on the label, no other words, symbols or drawings. On the front cover, there is a picture of John Lennon beneath the title. To the side of the picture, "Made in U.K" is printed, with an M with a line through it underneath. At the bottom is a typed paragraph. No writing on the spine, and the back cover is plain. The paragraph says... "This album is respectfully dedicated to my dear friend John Lennon. John was the key to the future for a new world. He reopened the doors which our ancestors had so long ago closed. Now a new generation has grown up free, never knowing the bonds which once held us. Our future is light and bright. This has all come about as a result of the effects the Fab Four had on our world. I want to say thank you to John wherever you are now and I hope that my message gets through to you as your message got through to me. There is no music on this record. It is an interview done several years ago with John and is of good quality. This is a very limited edition and should be treated with care. JWOL LTD. Liverpool, U.K." Written tiny beneath this it says "Canadian No. 34614973".
Any ideas what it is worth or anyone know anythingf about this record?
Thank you!
