We have a thread in the Beatles section for 'rediscovering Beatles songs' so I thought I'd start one for John Lennon solo songs.
Are there any of his songs that you never liked very much or that you didn't really notice how great they were - but now you love them and can't stop listening to them?
At the moment mine are Oh Yoko and One Day (At A Time).

Actually, it's hard to tell - I tend to discover them right away - but, for some reason, I've never paid much attention to 'Menlove Avenue'. I guess I'm discovering the songs again, and they're pretty good, although I already knew that. But it's hard for me to let songs pass me by. I'm a Lennonholic, you see?

One Day At A Time for me. I prefer the anthology version. It is more relaxed.

I agree, lennonlegend. Anyway, it is a great song.

When I first started listening to John, I listened to "I'm Losing You" all the time. But, as I discovered more of his songs, I really didn't listen to it. But, a few days ago I finally listened to it again and realized why I love it so much! Anyway, it's one of my favorite John songs!

'I'm Losing You' is great. The rawness of his voice is terrific.

I've never really cared for "Cold Turkey" but I like it now...I can appreciate his passion for the song and the lyrics.
