Once upon a time (or maybe twice)..... jk. Alright so when I was like 9 years old my dad made this mixed tape of all these random songs. One of those songs was a track called 'She's Leaving Home'. I heard it, and completely loved it. It was a story song, which was much different than the crap I listened to at the time, and more than that, the story it told was a tale of a desperate runaway. I hadn't heard anything like that.
I asked my dad who did it and he said the Beatles. I told him to play the song again and the rest is history. I got the entire Sgt. Pepper album for my 10th bday and have been over obsessive ever since.
But it's still the same. I still get that weird warm feeling when I hear the opening harp to SLH. And those delicate voices...
So what song started it for you? Can you even remember? It's easy. Just pick up your iPod and go through your song list until you find the one that gives you chills.

The song that started it all for me was Yesterday. I herd it playin on the radio in my band class...and i was like to the girl next to me "Who sings this?" she said with a big smile "The Beatles!" I loved the song it gave me chills listening to Pauls voice. And the lyrics? *warm* That weekend i went to our local cd store and bought Beatles 1. and the collection has grown ever since!

It was Help! & In My Life. First heard In My Life on Youtube. Loved it. The day after had a Beatles Youtube marathon on Youtube and feel in love.

Well my mom's friend gave her a burnt copy of the LOVE soundtrack, and I just saw it lying there and I'm like, hey, the Beatles were this supermassively huge band, might as well figure out what it was all about. So I listened to it, and fell completely in love with Eleanor Rigby to the point that I listened to the CD obsessively and eventually...well, it led to all this. xD

I heard A Day In the Life and I was blown away. I then looked around on the internet and did so research and found out it was The Beatles. I then listened to a bunch of other songs on Youtube and was hooked. I got the Red and Blue albums for Easter that year and have been obsessed ever since. ;D

I don't remember what song it was. I think Nowhere Man. I don't remember a time when I didn't like the Beatles. My father claims that put the movie Yellow Submarine on for me and after that I was obsessed with the Beatles.

Well the first song I ever heard was "Revolution" but I didn't know it was the Beatles. I was YOUNG then too so I don't guess that counts. I'd have to say "Penny Lane." We did a dance concert in middle school and my dance class choreographed an awesome dance to that song. That's when it hit me. That song still makes me

I do not remember what the first Beatles song I listened to, and can't really remember what song made me a lifelong fan, but I do remember when I was a teenager I had 'I am the Walrus', 'I want you (She's so heavy)', 'Helter Skelter', and 'Come Together' on a mixed tape randomly in between the grungy 90's bands I was into at that time.
