I got bored with my old username so I was looking for a new one. I can't remember why I chose it - I think maybe I was listening to Nowhere Man at the time.

Erm, I wanted something funny. And on MSN I just had a convo about John's story about the Budgie and I typed BudgieWudgie... Then I wanted to add something but BudgieWudgiePot sounded a little odd so I wrote BudgieWudgieWeed *waggles eyebrows*

Listening to Abbey Road. It was either Sun King or Mean Mr Mustard.

Everywhere I went I found someone had already taken one I wanted. I usually got to choose something with about three hundred numbers that you couldn't possibly remember. In frustration I picked up the dictionary and looked up my name. The first thing I read was nocturnal quadruped. It has been my user name since and I love it.

Well 64cowpalace65 is not my normal username on other sites ............ but I thought bragging about seeing the Beatles twice "in person" be totally understood here. Definitely understood.

On some other forums I'm on, I use "Aimee Wilbury." I'm also a Traveling Wilburys fan (that was George Harrison's supergroup) and "AimeeAndWilburys" doesn't seem right.

I have a long story about my name. I have been using it since 1995 when I first started chatting online on irc in #beatles. I wanted to pick a 60's type name and went with Starshine because of my favorite song from the musical Hair, Goodmorning Starshine. Well...come to find out that names weren't registured or anything on irc in those days. If you were the first person to login, and no one had that name, you could use it. And Starshine was a transvestite guy and I was getting some strange messages from people who thought I was him. Sooooo...I went with Starshyne with a "y" so that people didn't get confused. And since I thought it looked neat, I stuck with it!
