It's a tie for me, because the decades of the 60's & the 70's, were the best decades for music. From the Beatles, the Stones, Bob Dylan, Cream & Jimi Hendrix in the sixties to Elton John, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Lynyrd Skynyrd & Aerosmith in the seventies. The youth & rock revolution was in full force, as well, during those two decades, while it's been fading ever since.

60's and 70's definitely. Having artists and groups like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Doors, etc it can't be better. The 80's were also good, but it was then when comercial and low quality stuff started gaining fame, and well...in the 90's and beyond...OMG!!!

IMHO, 1964-1975 was the best time frame for great music. Bob

Definitely the 60s for me, though there was a lot of good music around in the early 70s as well. Most of the music I listen to is 60s pop and classic rock.
