Where you ever in a band or group during School?

I was in a Comedy Group in High School with 2 mates Alan & Elliott. First of there were 4 of us another member David who was my best mate from Primary School. When we started Drama David & I were alwaying pairing up and we called ourslves "Dumb & Dumber" after the hit film we had no idea who was Dumb or Dumber lol it was for everyone watching us. Our teacher thaught it be great if we paired up with other boys who were Alan & Elliott They looked like 2 Beatles Alan looked very much like Paul from 1964 and Elliott had a Ringo type voice lol. After performing a few gags we decided to call ourselves The Giggles as that's what we got after we did our gags. We were abit like The Goodies. David however had enough of Drama and decided to leave after talking to me privately I was devasted but respected his wishes. However Alan, Elliott & I contuned making daft scenes in 1998 we made our first feature film 'Yikes!' recorded by a camcorder,In the begining of 2001 we started drifting apart and on 30 June 2001 we performed our last scene together The Giggles were over. It was to be our last Gag ever. Outside the school we had a Zebra crossing so as a laugh we did the famous "Abbey Road thing". We actually reunited and did a one of show in 2006 Alan & Elliott went around pubs all over England performing our stuff even mine and I joined them in Edinburgh. We will probably not get together as Giggles now that we are doing our own indivual stuff. None of our parents knew about us being a Giggle it was our secret. But as a Ex Giggle I feel proud to of done it. Comedy is my life. Started in 1998 Split in 2001. Sorry it was long story.

Even occasionly I get the odd fan hanging around outside my house (some recognize me from walking round school but never saw me perform in The Giggles) it can be quite creepy if they want a autograph I give it to them. Sometimes I tell them to clear off. None of my family knew I was in a group. It was a secret

Hm, I'm still in school... next year my graduation, and after that 2 other years of highschool. And then I'm hopefully going to artschool. But the thing is, not much people here are like... Let's make a band! Because there's LOADS of Frisian bands, there's a musicprogramme on the Frisian channel ( www.klipkar.nl ) and only 2 of them gained a little fame - in Holland only. So it's not really appealing, though I'd love to be in a band. (oh and Frisia is an area of Holland, it's in the (upper) north-west and we speak an own language here) Quite a pity, really .

Today marks the 6th Anniversary when my group The Giggles split and performed our last scenes together. On Thursday I bumped into this girl who was a big fan of us expesally me :roll: she said she rembered the day and was upset she had seen us perform from the very begining. So it will be an emtional day but a great day of our legacy.
