Welcome, glad you got something out of it. The Peace movement will never die as long as there is war. Lets help it die then.

Why is it so hard to attain peace when my four year old gets the concept? Children are often wiser than the adults that run the world.

Peace, sadly, will never happen.
Imagine.
Imagine how perfect it would be.
We all can have inner peace though, appreciate the world, ourselves and each other.

We all can have inner peace though, appreciate the world, ourselves and each other. I think that's part of the problem. There are so many people who don't appreciate the world and don't have enough respect for other people. That's one of the reasons we probably won't ever have peace.

I think that we need to work harder for peace and show those greedy politicians whose runnin' things around here. I've always wanted to say that. I'd love to go to a peace rally/protest and I wouldn't back down until I was thrown in jail, where I would complain so much they'd throw me out.

If I could, I would definitely participate in one of those protests. Why not? I believe in peace, and I think it's the only way to give the world some hope that everything will be alright.

No one bieleves in love these days! Just look at the music being promoted by artists such as "The Pussycat Dolls" & "50 Cent" & god knows what else! Its just disgusting, and with soooo many teenagers pressured into being cool and "gangster" these days, it seems pretty impossible to drill the notion of peace and love into there minds!
Now thats a negative view, but it's so true (at least where Im from)

It is true, musicalhab. Some people just can't BELIEVE in it. It looks like they run away from it. Oh, well... A negative view may end up being a wake-up call to someone, so don't be afraid to speak your mind.

Peace today isn’t considered ‘hip’, or cool. John didn’t care about any of those things. He just got out there and tried to get it happening. He spoke his mind to forward the cause.
John is more relevant today if anything. In today’s violent world, there are people who represent hate. Lennon is an icon of peace and love. It is yin and yang. Like he put it, "If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliché that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal."

I think another problem is that wearing peace and love t-shirts or other things are just a fad for people, but they don't really believe in it. I don't mean anyone here, of course, but all the girls at my school do it because everyone else is.
Also, I think that politicians in general are just stupid. They won't stand for anything unless they get money from it-peace, war, anything.
