www.nme.com/news/yoko-ono/33024Yoko Ono is set to mark the 27th anniversary of John Lennon's death by urging fans to display 'War Is Over!' artwork. The message War Is Over If You Want It - Happy Christmas from John And Yoko is available to download from ImaginePeace.com and is to coincide with his passing on December 8. A special message and video will be available on that day. In a statement, Ono says : "Please print & display in your window, workplace, school, street, car, computer & elsewhere over the holiday season. "On December 8th, 11.15pm (your local time) please remember John by taking a moment of quiet reflection." It suggests that you should sing or play 'Imagine' and asks that you send stories and photos to stories@imaginepeace.com.

I just saved it to my computer. I am not sure where to display it yet, but I loved how John said that housewives should display it in their homes so people and their husbands will know they are against war. I wonder what my husband would say if I put it in our front window....

Last Wednesday I had an unexpected free period. Or well, two, actually but in one I had to make a test which I finished after about half an hour. Then I sat down in the computer classroom (it's usually empty so..) and thought of what I should do. Soo I went to the ImaginePeace website and printed a couple of the posters. Now they're hanging throughout the whole school ;D (and them people think I'm even more of a nutter than they already did before... oh well). One bloke just does not seem to appreciate it, he ripped off one of the papers. Hmm, I suppose it doesn't matter; it's not as if he knows how to react at ANY thing. He's just got problems, I tell you

Try growing your hair, as John said something they can't get at. Good Luck

But I don't wanna grow my hair! I mean, I like it the way it is (... like, John '66 -ish ;D) at the moment. Unless when you mean the hair in your armpits (but seen as I'm a girl that's NOT a good idea xD)

I'm not her, so I suppose it's not a too great idea I mean, some parts of feminism are alright, but the bit about 'growing your arm pit hair' is... NOT all that appealing xD

So as I don't appear sexist I am prepared to shave if it is asked of me by the right woman. lol Thankfully it hasn't happened yet ;D
