i have just finished watching part of the beatles night on t.v. on bbc2. it was the 1st time i have seen the documentary 'beatles first u.s.a. tour. i have to say i thought it was BRILLIANT ;D. the difference between stars touring in 1964 and today coudnt be more different. i thought the group came across as really nice and friendly people, and the clips from the ed. sulivan shows were great. 1q for anyone that has seen this documentary, were the lads travelling on a normal train acros the states, because they seemed to be moving around quite freely between carriages, giving autograpghs ect. i also caught the show before that, the beatles on record witch was also great ;D. p.s havnt been on this site for ages because i had loads of probs with my p.c and then coudnt remember the sites name still a great site tho thanksfor reading

I'm glad you've found us again, geordie. I was watching the Beatles Night last night as well. I enjoyed The Beatles On Record - for those of you who weren't able to see it, it was a documentary that looked at each Beatles album with a combination of still photos and studio/film footage, narrated by John, Paul, George, Ringo and George Martin. It was good to see the First US Tour and Help! again too.
