The rooftop concert at the end of January 69, proves the Beatles were still a tight rock & roll band, despite the personal & professional tension between John, Paul & George. If they would have toured after the release of Abbey Road, it would have overshadowed Woodstock & Altamont, no doubt in my mind. From Get Back to I've Got A Feeling to One After 909 & a reprise of GB, the Beatles kicked butt, the magic was still there. I believe the album & the movie Let It Be should be celebrated, instead of hated, by the majority of the fans, because it's real, without any BS. The rooftop concert is just as much of a classic performance as their first appearance on Ed Sullivan & Shea Stadium.

They seemed to be having a ball. After all that was said and done, they still loved each other like brothers.

Let It Be is a classic album, no matter how I feel about how it was put together. (Which, to tell you the truth, doesn't bother me much at all now) I love it.

It really is great, and they did look like they were having a blast. John and Paul always giving each of other little smirks and grins. And I love how they were disappointed when they weren't dragged off the roof by the police. C:
