Hi Yes, I read the book and I know the website. Well, I found it quite interesting. Whether you believe in all the theories of the author or you think everything is just coincidence is a very personal matter. I found some clues quite odd and worth thinking about, although I don't believe in all deductions of the author. If the subject as a whole interests you as much as the personality of John, then I can recommend the book. Snoopy

Hmmm I'm intrigued. Did it make you never listen to the Beatles the same again Snoopy?

Hi Here is the description of the book: "Offering a new interpretation of the hidden messages and symbols that have ornamented Beatles mythology for years, this examination of the Beatles' recordings and album artwork theorizes that John Lennon's murder was eerily foretold. Following a fascinating and unique trail of sorcery, mysticism, numerology, backwards masking, anagrams, and literary and theological writings, the book posits that John Lennon sold his soul in order to achieve international fame and fortune and subsequently paid the ultimate price for his success." And there is the link from Amazon, where you can read the reviews. www.amazon.com/gp/product/0942257456/ref=s9_simh_gw_p14_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1YCHE065E0XAH8PBR5N9&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846You'll see that it's very controversial, some readers think it's crap and other readers believe in it. I guess, I'm somewhere "in the middle of it" with my opinion and would give the book 3 stars as well. Yeah, there are indeed reasons to be intrigued. Though, I listen to the Beatles-songs quite the same, as I read in other books some extracts about the so-called "death-clues" before (like in the Ray Coleman biography). Therefore, some theories were not new to me. This book just handles the subject in an extremely detailled (and sometimes speculative) way. But I must admit that I often think about some of his clues while listening to certain songs like "I'm the walrus" or "a day in the life" . Snoopy

Well, I know such books. I've never read the Lennon book before, but I'm sure that it's quite creepy. I don't believe in this 'he sold his soul' crap. People also say that Robert Johnson the old bluesmaster sold his soul to the devil in order to become a great musician and got killed by the hellhound at last.
John never sold his soul to anyone. Listen to the Quarrymen tapes: he had always been a genius. He always laughed about all these freaks that were convinced that there are strange messages in his songs. And so do I.

I don't believe in this 'he sold his soul' crap. Neither do I. That talk is absolute garbage.

I just read a really long review about the book, and it kinda seems like a bunch of nonsense to me. A lot of people say that there is some interesting information on the Beatles' history, but overall it's a crazy theory that Lennon sold his soul to the devil. I may read it if I find it in the library or something, but it sounds pretty ridiculous to me.
