Hi everyone. I hope this is the right place for this. I want some input. I'm thinking about getting a John Lennon/Beatles book. What do you recommend? I want something with lots of good, big pictures mostly from the 1960s, if possible. Any suggestions?

Hi there. I recommend the book Images Of The Beatles. It is a hardcover book and is about $7.00 or $8.00 at Barnes and Noble in the bargain book section. I also recommend the book about just John called The New York Years. It doesn't have any 1960s pictures, but it is a great book full of tons of photos.

I recently bought the book "John Lennon" by Philip Norman. It contains 859 pages. :-) I have planned on reading it this summer holiday =) So I cannot give you any feedback what-so-ever yet, but I have read quite a few good reviews.

Thanks everyone. Are any of you familiar with John's book, In His Own Write? I'm sure you are. I'm considering getting it, and I'm wondering if you think it's good. Are there any photos of him in it? I think it's a book of drawings, poems, and stories...am I right?

Read Skywriting by Word of Mouth. ITs VERY strange, but there is a bit of an autobiography about his starting relationship with Yoko and the end with Cyn. I was very excited to read that. I didn't finish it, and it was a little out there, but it was defiantly entertaining. I would also recommend Imagine. Its a book that accompanies the Imagine documentary and it has rare pics in great quality as well as a lot of John, and other loved ones, quotes. You probably would have to buy that one online, but the other, I got mine from the library.

Hello I've recently read "Skywriting by Word of Mouth" and it's true that it's VERY strange but I highly enjoyed it . I'm planning to read "In his own write" soon and I'm pretty sure that I will like it too; it contains some drawings of John too. Snoopy
