"John Lennon: Across the Universe" celebrates the life and times of one of the most influential musicians in pop music as fans mark the 30th anniversary of his passing on Dec. 8, 2010, not somberly, but with a visual feast of photos, memorabilia and quotes from both the Beatles years and his solo work. The book features rare images of Lennon throughout his career, juxtaposed by the myriad pop-culture memorabilia that was created from the height of Beatlemania to the late 1970s and the Plastic Ono Band. The book contains dozens of quotes by and about Lennon, and features personal reminiscences from fans and celebrities recalling Lennon's impact on their lives and where they were when they heard of his death.
