If you were lucky enough to see the Beatles in concert, please tell us about it here.
Or maybe you've seen one of John, Paul, George or Ringo's solo concerts? We'd love to hear about those too.

I saw the Beatles once as a band, but not on stage.I was just a kid, very young but that day is engraved in my memory. They had come to Toronto. We didnt have tickets but my father knew where they were going to be.He took my sister( and me) to a road nearby, and sure enough, after a wait, 2 slow moving cars went by us with guess who in them. They just kind of looked at us, my sister screamed, and they were gone. Years later at a music fest at Varsity Stadium, rumour was going around all day that John and Yoko might be there.Sure enough late in the afternoon, a loud roar could be heard .Looking over the wall was many many motorcycles leading a limo into the stadium. Out came John and Yoke.Eric Clapton and others.John said they had never played together and had rehearsed over the Atlantic. Played just basic songs with Yoko in a bag most of the show. Then she came out and they did an incredible Dont Worry Kyoko. The next song Yoko just screamed, The crowd booed her,John was pissed off, put his arm around her, put his guitar down in feedback mode, and they left, with Johns feedback still vibrating the stadium. Remember, the Beatles were still the Beatles at this time, so this was a very important event, a Beatle playing without the other Beatles.A sign of things to come BTW, the band who was on before John? The Doors Also saw Paul George and Ringo on solo tours. Pauls being the best of the 3 (Wings Over America Tour) Ringos show with his all star band was great.Georges was HO HUM.OK but nothing great

Oh wow, that's SO awesome! Bloody INCREDIBLE I tell you! I wasn't even born when John got shot... He died long before I was even born Too young to see George in concert I suppose and too poor to see Paul's concerts... I doubt whether Ringo's ever been in Holland ^o)

I started liking the Beatles when I was in 4th grade (aka, about 10 years old) ... Though, the only thing was that I didn't really know it were the Beatles. We were just having history class and at a certain point it was about a skeleton of an prehistoric 'human' or something, named Lucy because Lucy in the Sky was on the radio... I still DO remember it gave me the shivers down my spine, unbelievable. Too bad I didn't think about that later And only about a year ago I started liking them A LOT, tho I've always loved their name, and music, and so on. Natural prefer, I guess

I suppose it doesn't matter how old you are or how long ago the Beatles broke up - great music will last forever. Of course, the advantage you people have who were fans in the 60s is that you could experience it while it was actually happening and you had the chance to go to those concerts...I would love to have been able to see the Toronto show. It sounds amazing.

I was very close seeing Paul in 2003 in Glasgow we knew he was comming and were reading stuff in the papers on how Paul is planning a special treat for the concert. I was looking on his website to see when tickets were available then we read something we didn't want to read Glasgow Concert Cancelled During that tour Paul had been suffering a cold and cancelled the concert for a resheduled show in Sheffild I was really upset I had the gig on my calander and everything and during Beatle Week I saw people with tshirts from the show and I found it hard not too look

Similar story as the last, When Paul was touring in the early nineties he was in Australia just before I emigrated, and when I made it down under he was in the UK. SIGH...... then the next time around he cancelled his Australian shows and that was that, maybe next time, my wife knows I am going even if I have to take out a loan. lol ;D

Oh, well, I'm 16 and I've loved the Beatles all my life. I may be young, but I appreciate good music and can recognize a good artist. And the Beatles were the greatest band on Earth, as John was the greatest musician ever. Thanks for the compliment!
