Don't know if this is true or not but Someone told me that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are reforming the Beatles with Julian Lennon and Liam Gallagher replacing John and George. Even though John & George are ireplaceable. Apparently the group will be called "The New Beatles" - a one-off concert is being planned in New York and there is also talk of an album. To be fair if that did hppen they should have Dahni Harrison instead of Liam.

If that's true, I will be really happy but I agree with you, it would be better to have Dhani instead of Liam. I haven't listen anything about it yet.

Oh Dear, what a terrible idea. Please, just Ringo and Paul it would be great, any project is fine as long as they don't link it to the Beatles. As for Liam, I like the music Oasis make but the Gallagher brothers are a pair of A******S. As for Dhani I find it hard to believe he would link himself to this, he seems to have such respect for his father as George Harrison and not Beatle George. I would love to see Paul and Ringo recording and performing though.

I doubt it's true because you can't really create a "new Beatles" especially with the Gallagher's. They've been disrespectful towards the guys and I believe Paul made it clear he didn't really care for Liam or Noel. There could never be a"New Beatles". The Beatles were John, Paul, George and Ringo and no one can replace those four amazing musicians

That would have been a terrible idea. To quote one of their last songs, 'let it be'.

I don't think Julian Lennon would agree to anything like this. He's going his own way with his music. Besides, it still wouldn't the The Beatles. The Beatles are John, Paul, George & Ringo. Nobody can replace John Lennon & George Harrison.

I agree with lennonlegend, just let it be. The Beatles were JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE and RINGO, not Paul, Ringo and two other guys. And I don't think Julian would accept such a thing, nor Sean or Dhani. The Beatles were what they were because of those four amazing lads. Only them could have made it. And yes, taylor, nobody can replace Georgie and Johnny boy
