I was listening the Beatles Live at the BBC album and John sings the lead vocal on Honey Don't but of course as we all know Ringo sings it on Beatles For Sale. Which one do you think is the best version, the live one with John singing or Ringo's version on the album?

I can't decide...they're both good. I've always liked the Beatles For Sale version - I think Ringo's voice is perfect for the song (and I love the 'rock on George' bits), but I like the version with John singing too.

Much as I love Johns voice, I have to say I prefer the one on Beatles For Sale. Honey Don't is actually one of my favorite songs that Ringo sang on a Beatles album. I think Ringo's voice gives it more of a country sound, while John makes it more rock and roll.

I would have to listen to John's version and decide on that. But if my memory takes me back.. Maybe I'd say that I like both
