I am going to see the Beatles tribute band "Abbey Road" tomorrow at the Butler Wick museum in Youngstown, Ohio. They are one of the best Beatles tribute bands in the country. They have been around since 1983. I'll let you guys know how it was. Here's a link to their official website: www.abbeyroadbeatlestribute.com/

That's great, I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful time. Last year I went to a Beatles tribute concert in Laughlin NV, the band was Rain and they were superb, especially the one performing as Paul.

I have seen a couple of different Beatle tribute bands in both Australia and the U.K and both of them were excellent shows that were well presented and performed. With such great songs how can you go wrong. I hope you have as much fun as I did.

Well, the tribute band was pretty good, they played for over three hours. They started out in the suits the Beatles wore before they came over to America, then they went into their Ed Zullivan suits and played all of the Beatlemania songs. After that they changed into the Sgt. Pepper suits and played a lot of their later stuff. The only complaint I have is that the drummer was absolutely terrible. He couldn't keep time and he messed up a lot of songs. They guy who was Paul kept yelling at him, I don't know how they've been able to play with him for 24 years. Paul was pretty good but the guy playing John was the best. The guy playing George was a good guitarist but looked a little creepy. I also met Jimi Hendrix. His name is Anthony Aquarious and he is probably the best Jimi Hendrix look-a-like in the world. He even played him in a movie. He dressed, looks, and sounds just like him. I talked to him for a good ten minutes and he could definetely be the real Hendrix. He went on stage and performed Hey Joe and Red House, which absolutely blew me away he was so good.
All in all, I'd give the concert an 8.5/10

I'm glad you enjoyed it (apart from the drummer!) I've never seen them before but I'll look out for them if they're ever playing near me.
