I like most of the groups from the 1960's especially the folk music era: Peter, Paul and Mary, Simon and Garfunkel, Joan Baez, etc. I also like a lot of 1990's gunge music, because that is why I listened to as a teenager such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam. I also like R.E.M. and 10,000 Maniacs music from the 1980's and early 1990's. I listen to Christian bands like the Waiting, Supertones, Insyderz and others that I used to enjoy in college. Oh and I especially like to listen to musical sountracks like Rent, Guys and Dolls, Avenue Q, and a lot of others.

I encountered the best of Mick Jagger in the shop today and briefly considered parting with some of my hard earned cash. In the end I elected not to, but the thought was there. (Shudder)

Other than the Beatles, its almost exclusively 60's and 70's rock. Some of my more favorite artists include The Band, Neil Young, CSNY, Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin, Cream, the Stones (pre 1972, everything after that isn't great), Hendrix, the Doors, The Who, The Guess Who, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan (before he went all religious), The Byrds, Chicago (before they ruined themselves in the mid-70's) and Steely Dan.

Apart from Lennon -
U2, I think they carry on John's style of music. I like Queen as well.

Not really sure where to put this one, I got a copy of Michael Jacksons off the wall, inside I found a photo of Paul and Jacko washing some dishes together. Despite the fact that the photo looks like it was taken around the time of Pipes of Peace this album was released in 1979. Not sure what that means, maybe they just stuck the photo in for the re-release. Anyone know? Although there is no mention of Paul on the album Jacko did a nice cover of the Wings track Girlfriend.

This is amazing - Love, Peace and war is over, Joe Cocker plays air guitar but arguably one of the best ever live versions of With A Little Help From My Friends. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FMq0iDX1yE
