Apart from the Beatles and John, Paul, George and Ringo's solo music, what other bands/musicians do you like? Here are some that I like: The Doors, The Kinks, Donovan, The Zombies, The Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Small Faces, The Move, The Who - most 60s classic rock, as you can see! Reason for Editing: updating my list

Same goes for me too....anything classic rock (extending into the 70s and sometimes early 80s) It's really funny to see peoples reactions when I tell them the music I listen to....My favorite quote from most everyone is..."You were born in the wrong decade" I love it! ;D And actually it's killing me b/c my sister ordered me 2 cd's that I can't have until my birthday tmrw!!! It's the Doors and Jimi Hendrix (I'M DYING TO HAVE THEM) The box is on my kitchen counter and I want to open it soooo bad! I guess I can wait lol

Aside from The Beatles, I like Elvis (as if you didn't already know ), Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, etc. I like a lot of the oldies, mainly stuff from the 50s-60s.

Yep, yep. I have been told I have a good taste in music by some people before. I think I am a bit judgemental about modern music myself. I suppose modern non-rap is not especially bad.

My era was the eighties, I got into the beatles retrospectively, so I like most of the 80's bands but specifically The Sisters Of Mercy and the Damned and all of the SKA bands like the Specials and the Selecter etc.

I like some Queen, ABBA, various 70's/disco music, some Elvis, Rolling Stones, and John, George and some Paul solo stuff.
Modify: I also love Simon and Garfunkel and Cilla Black
Modify again: Christina Aguilera and anything Motown
Reason for Editing: more musicians have been added

I listen mostly to classic rock/60s music, and some 70s music - I think its much better than most of the stuff that's in the charts today.

You're absolutely right,IMHO. Even more - today's music is a total commercial crap from beginning to end. Well... 70x are, may be, the most interesting decade in rock music evolution. But as for me, being a romantic person (sorry for.... mmmm... but it is so....) I like listening to the music of 80x a lil' bit more in general.MMM.... such a nostalgic decade, you know.... and a hedonistic decade in some way too, as they say....with unforgettable and romantic ballads (Reo Speedwagon, Foreigner etc.) My favourite artist of the 80x is Phil Collins.

My fave bands are Linkin Park, The Doors and Nirvana (and The Beatles of course) but I also love Elvis quite terribly xD. And I listen to all kind of music, music is like oxygen to me, I love 60's music like Dylan, Clapton, Joplin, etc.... classics are the best
