I know exactly what you're talking about! In the past I was often told to shut my mouth when these things came to talk. I wouldn't be a real J.L. fan, I'd just try to make him look bad. Yeah, of course, as if I could possibly LIKE to talk bad about John! I love him! I love his music, in spite of all I love his interesting personality and he's such an important thing in my life for so many years now! But is that a reason to act as if he'd been an angel on earth?! We all make mistakes and he made many and then he tried to make it up (I'm sure he tried!) and that's okay. I just don't see why so many people close their eyes to the bad sides of John Lennon. I'm not a real fan? They aren't!!

You are right we have to take the bad with the good! I do love the guy, but he made some mean things in his life, which as same as you I believe he tried to make them up.
The better description I have read about John is that he was like the paradoxical symbols of the Chinese Philosophy, he was both the "yin" (black) and the "yang" (white) the paradigmatic dichotomy between the good and evil.
I invite you to read a post I wrote titled, A Little Tribute for John Lennon which is in the Fan Fiction and Fan Art section of this forum. It's just my personal way to describe him and is kind of an extraction from my fan fiction which link is also in that section. The fiction is titled A Day in The Life and I will love for you to read it.

What surprises me is that with the groupies and everything back in the day, why aren't more ladies coming forward saying they had a Beatles child? I know Paul has heard this a few times, but no one has said it about John, George or Ringo. I did just read in a book about Paul having crabs and making Alistar Taylor go get the medication for him because he didn't want Jane to know.

Well the Beatles learned some things in Hamburg so I guess they used condoms very well. Or maybe they were just lucky. This is an interesting question please if some one knows more about it , just enlight us.

You have a very good way of putting things. I'd like to talk to you more about John. You seem to understand him so well. Thank you for writing such a beautiful thing. Where did you read of John being described that way?

Thanks apieceofsky, I really love the guy and I have take some time to know him... I have read a lot about him and well I still doesn't know him completely. To me, John as a person is fascinating. The Yin and yang comparison, I read it in a CD named John Lennon Remember, this is an exclusive CD made by Starbucks. There’s a little biography in that CD kind of a description of John and his work and there’s this line that reads, "The jealous guy who was feeling insecure was also a confident philosopher who was fine watching shadows on the wall. The yin and the yang. " That inspire me and I wrote that tribute you read. I’m very glad you like it and we can talk about John anytime you wanted

I saw Jenny Kee on an Australian TV show called Where Are They Now. It was a Beatles special. She acted so prowd that she slept with John.
When I first learnt that he was a womaniser I was a bit shocked but it didn't stop me from loving him and suprisingly reading the bastard stuff didn't either. He's the most intresting and fascinating person I never knew.

Well, it was well known that John was a sex addict, so there are no surprises there. There are (supposedly) "Beatle kids" out there that no one knows about. Brian used to just pay the mothers off regularly. I've heard rumors of John having a daughter in Germany.

I've heard rumors of John having a daughter in Germany. Without a DNA test it would be almost impossible for anyone to prove it, but I suppose it's very likely that there could be lots of Beatle children all over the world. I found this report from 1998 (the third story on the page). It doesn't sound as if anyone believed the woman's claims. archives.tcm.ie/irishexaminer/1998/08/29/fhead.htm
