Has anyone seen any John Lennon tributes (not sure if you still call it a tribute 'band' when its a tribute to a solo artist, lol!). Do you think any of them really look or sound like John? Post a link or some pictures if you can find any so we can see what they look like.

I think Johnny Silver is one of the best. I saw his "Come Together Right Now" show in 2005 and was very impressed. He looks and sounds a lot like John. Pictures here: www.lennonshow.com/Photoalbum3.htm

I have seen a couple tribute bands for the Beatles. The best was the bootleg beatles that covered the whole period of the 60s. Here is a picture of the guy who portayed John, I seem to remember him winning a talent show and the rest of the band being built around him. They were good though.

Yes the Bootleg Beatles are great. I've seen them once before and I'm hoping to see them again later this year.

I once met a Lennon impersonator online. But only chatted once...

The only person that looks like John is himself. No one can match his looks. The closest is probably some of the impersonators. ;D

I'm proud to say that I am one half of an acoustic, female Beatles tribute duo called "Luv Me Deux". To my knowledge, we are one of only 3 female Beatles tribute bands in the world. We don't even try to attempt to look like them, cuz that would be impossible. I think there's a big difference between sound-a-like bands and tribute bands. You can check us out at www.myspace.com/luvmedeux
