I imagine if John were alive he be upset if he saw Paul's Back In The World Albumwhen Paul changed it to McCartney/Lennon. During my group The Giggles we had the similar thing with Buchan/Cleland as we were like John & Paul writing new gags and I was upset when someone told me Alan changed it to Cleland/Buchan

I can understand why it upsets Paul to have John's name first on songs like Yesterday, but I think if he wanted to change it, he should have discussed it with John while he was still alive and done it then, rather than waiting until John wasn't here to say whether he agreed or not.
It would have been best if they had always tried to put the name of whoever wrote most of each song first, right from the beginning. After all these years of it being Lennon/McCartney, McCartney/Lennon just doesn't sound right.

The boys agreed very early on that it would be Lennon/McCartney. Now go and grab your copy of Please Please Me and look at the credits, it clearly says McCartney/Lennon, I believe this only happened on the first LP (UK) However, Paul has the right to his individual identity and I don't think John would be that bothered to tell you the truth, materialism was never his thing and he would not count it as something worth getting upset over.
