Do any of John's songs have any special meaning for you? I married for the second time a few years ago and we had "Grow Old With Me" played after the wedding. It's one of my favorites of John's love songs, and as my husband is also a Beatles fan (though not as obsessed as I am!) he agreed it was the perfect song for a wedding.

That's fantastic, Jean! I've often thought that if I ever get married I'd like that song played at my wedding. It's one of the most romantic songs John wrote. To answer your question, the song "How" has a lot of meaning for me; I first heard it at a time when I was feeling depressed and the lyrics pretty much described the way I felt.

It would be Stand By Me. I know it is ''just'' a cover, but when I'm down it makes me feel like there IS someone caring for me, after all. I don't know why. And usually when I'm in bed and I feel like rubbish, it is just getting stuck in my head. As if he's singing it for me. Very weird, and I've never had that with any other song at all. It's making me smile ... (But don't laugh about it, please... it's the first time I've told someone about it *blush* )

It's probably a bit obvious but it would almost be universal, In My Life says just about everything to everyone, I love it and I get something personal out of this song.

Mind Games seems to have a special meaning for me, nowadays, although I don't know why.

This is hard. because so many of John's songs remind me of my ex boyfriend, and I'm really having a hard time listening to John because of that. (Just like) Starting Over really reminds me of him. because we would have hard time spending time with each other because we each had so much going on in our lives
and Grow old with me,because I wrote a thing for him that said "God Bless our love"
and Jealous Guy,because I was always jealous towards other girls who would talk to him and felt like I could have written that song.

Old Dirt Road, Grow Old With Me, Steel And Glass and I Know (I Know) at the moment. I feel a bit nostalgic, I think. And thoughtful.

Watching the Wheels at the moment. I can relate to the lyrics and it just feels so relaxed.

Working Class Hero for me. I guess the lyrics kind of describe the way I see the world if that makes sense.

A special meaning... Mmmm. Nobody Told Me. I've always loved its words, and I found myself in a lot of them <3.
