I have never heard this album. I wiki'd it up.. and this came about: Track listing All pieces by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. 1. "Two Virgins Side One": – 14:14 * "Two Virgins No. 1" * "Together" * "Two Virgins No. 2" * "Two Virgins No. 3" * "Two Virgins No. 4" * "Two Virgins No. 5" I wanted to see if I could use any of those in the Song vs. Song game...... I couldn't choose. Has anyone heard these songs? Are these even songs?

They're not exactly songs...it's a lot of screaming and weird sound effects (a bit like Revolution 9).

I wouldn't, unless you like that avantgarde type of music. There are two other John and Yoko albums, Life With The Lions and the Wedding Album which were very similar.

Two Virgins is not for lovers of music, more for lovers of sound, Lennon got me into listening to things other than pop or rock. It is a rarity for me to listen to two virgins or life with the lions but it has been known if the mood is right. What is most interesting for me about these releases now is that they include additional tracks that were originally b-sides to whatever plastic ono band single was current at the time of release. Most of these songs have not seen the light of day for thirty years and are invaluable if you are interested in more than Lennon's vocal style. Although Yoko is normally the vocalist, Lennon plays a wicked guitar on some of these tracks and it is very prominent in the mix. You will only find out you don't like it if you give it a listen.

Hey BudgieWudgieWeed, I see you wanted to own a copy of Two virgins on Vinyl, I got the wedding album on vinyl, I don't own a record player so it's never been played, I occasionally dig it out and just go through the box and look at the record. Sad am I not, it's just that there's something about holding a record that you don't get with a cd. Or am I showing now that I am over thirty. Damn. lol.

Haha. Yeah, I'd like to own it on vinyl. I love vinyl more then CDs anyway, don't know why. Natural prefer, I guess Because, even though I'm only 15 years old now, I was raised with vinyl instead of CDs, since my dad had his recordplayer downstairs, and we didn't have a CDplayer until I was 7 or 8 years old Haha, I know that there's something about vinyl! I own more vinyl albums of John then I've got on cd (vinyl : 3, CD : 0 ) I often go to the musicstore here in town, well, there are two but I never go to one because they only sell modern music. Or rarely a Beatles #1. Nothing else But, in the other one they've got way more 50's/60's/70's kind of music, and they also sell (2ndhand) LPs, which is great. I love the smell *giggles* That's why I want it on vinyl. Besides, the art of the albumcovers is almost always way better shown as on CDs, just because of it's size

It's pure avant-garde stuff. I think it shows the paraphernalia of John and Yoko's lives together at those first stages of their relationship. A lot of people don't really like the albums, but I think they're worth a listen. At least, just to know how they sound like. It's a whole different dimension: don't expect to hear new songs or new amazing vocals from John because that wasn't the concept. Those albums were created to show people how chaotic life could be. I have 'Two Virgins', 'Life With The Lions' and 'The Wedding Album' and I love them.

Well, John said Two Virgins was made during the very first night he and Yoko spent together; to me, hopeless romantic, it's something I would know better, not only for the artwork, it's also the prelude of a fantastic love story.

Yeah, definitely. I feel so happy and fulfilled when I'm listening to 'Two Virgins'. You can feel all that love coming through the speakers and entering your soul. It's a touching album.

I want 2 virgins SO BAD! I LOVE THE WEDDING ALBUM! and Betsoboogie said,The idea that it was made on their first night together makes me want it more even though I know that when I listen to it I will wish with all my heart that I knew John personally and was as special to him as Yoko was.
