Well, recently a friend of mine sent me a few of her favourite John Lennon solo songs.
The ones I can think of off the top of my head are We All Shine On, Woman, Imagine... and others *is tired* But anyway, I really do like his music! I've never really listened to it, because I've mainly had a love bias towards Paul (<3<3<3<3<3) and his solo career and all that... so I never really listened to any of John's.
But I really do love it! It's quite lovely... I vant some more =K *dracula*
=P I've always loved John and Paul, but as I've said I never really got into John's solo career until now.
... Which just ticks me off that much more about his death. >_>
But anyway. =p
Long live John, Paul, Ringo, George, and the beatles! <3<3<3!!!

It was the opposite way for me...I've always loved John's music but it took a lot longer before I got into Paul's solo music.
Have you heard any of George or Ringo's songs yet?

A little bit of Ringo's, but to be honest I didn't really care for it that much. =P But I've heard a lot of George's, I like that a lot =D

The sad thing is also, is that we only have so much music of John's to play. There is quite a bit out there, but we won't be getting any more.

I'm into their individual songs, as well as their work under the name of Beatles. I love their work, always so great and touchy. I got into Beatles' music first, then I started listening to John's. It was 'instant love': I just thought 'I knew he was great, but oh my, he's brilliant!'. And that was it. I fell in love with John. And this love keeps growing bigger and bigger, I can't help it. Don't get me wrong, Paul, George and Ringo's work is great, but John is... well, John, really. He's unique. I love John.

Yes, he is. I was searching Youtube and I found a video of The Beatles playing Don't Let Me Down on the rooftop. John forgets the words at one part and sings some gobbledygook. His smile afterwards is priceless, and Paul finds it funny as well. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd6kfCHX1gw&feature=related

I love that video. I love the way he smiles at Paul.
