I like Double Fantasy, but I feel that some of the production was too slick or in other words, too commercialized. Milk And Honey is a great album, in my opinion that is overlooked. What is sad about Double Fantasy, is that it was his true last album.... What is more saddening about Double Fantasy, he wrote a song about his son and he died shortly after the album's release. That fact alone, makes Double Fantasy worth it to me.

As it stands I think Double Fantasy is the better album, had John gotten around to finishing Milk and Honey I think the signs were there to say it would have been the better of the two.

I love both...there are some great songs on Milk and Honey, but I think I prefer Double Fantasy. I always feel sad listening to Milk and Honey, knowing that John never got to finish it.

I think I know what you mean, Davey...do you mean Double Fantasy would have been less successful if John had lived? Maybe that's true - it only reached #1 after his death - but I love it anyway. Double Fantasy might have been more popular if it had been just John's songs...I actually think Yoko's songs on that album are okay, but I know a lot of people don't want to hear them and only want to listen to John's.

I voted for Milk and Honey because though I like Double Fantasy I think Milk and Honey had potentially better songs on it. Double Fantasy might have been more popular if it had been just John's songs... Imagine if in place of Yoko's songs on Double Fantasy John had included his songs that were on Milk and Honey. Then the tracklisting would be like this: (Just Like) Starting Over I'm Stepping Out Cleanup Time I Don't Wanna Face It I'm Losing You Borrowed Time Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy) (Forgive Me) My Little Flower Princess Watching The Wheels Nobody Told Me Woman Grow Old With Me Dear Yoko Now wouldn't that be a fantastic album?

If you have the Lennon box set, the fourth disc is contains those thirteen tracks plus every man has a woman who loves him and you are right, it is a great disc.

I don't have the 4th disc of the lennon box set but I made it on my own. And yes, that's a great album.
Once I was told that yoko forced John to put her songs in his album otherwise she would have left him. I think it is an orrible thing. what do you think?

Yes, I remember reading something like that too, though of course it might not be true. Anyway my answer to the original question is I think Double Fantasy is better than Milk and Honey. Some of my favourite songs are on Double Fantasy.
