I just read on one of my favourite John Lennon sites You Are The Plastic Ono Band that a new documentary about the Plastic Ono Band album is under production and will be shown by the BBC. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else, but that site is usually reliable. |

It seems that the documentary is only going to be available on DVD and will be released on April 29th. I found a review of it here: blogcritics.org/archives/2008/04/20/093915.phpIt's interesting that John and Yoko originally wanted to title John's Plastic Ono Band album "Primal" and Yoko's album "Scream" but in the end they decided to call them both "Plastic Ono Band" instead. |

I've just seen it. It's amazing, it's a wonderful documentary. You can't help tears or laughter while watching it. It's so raw and true, and the interviews are great. You can hear Yoko, Ringo, Klaus and other people talking about the making of the album. I really loved it. Highly recommended.  |
