ShowbizspyRolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger is going to release a duet with the late Beatles legend John Lennon. The song, which is called 'Too Many Cooks (Spoil the Soup)' - was recorded by the pair over 30 years ago and will feature on Jagger’s new compilation album 'The Very Best of Mick Jagger'. The track features Mick Jagger on vocals, the late John Lennon on guitar and Ringo Starr on drums. It was recorded in Los Angeles in 1973 and was produced by Lennon. The song never received a public release at the time, but fetched $2,800 at an auction in London back in 2003. A source said: "Apparently Mick had forgotten about the song for a number of years. "But thanks to the auction some people got to hear it again and it sounded good." The album is due to be released in October.

This is certainly an interesting dilemma, A John Lennon track I have not got in my collection, however to possess said track I have to purchase an album of Jaggers. Disembowelling with a blunt knife might be a third option. ;D
