www.chinadaily.com.cn/entertainment/2007-09/05/content_6082270.htmYoko Ono has unveiled a lighthouse in Iceland in honour of her late husband John Lennon. The Peace Tower is due to be lit from the former Beatle's birthday to the anniversary of his death - but Ono is hoping the lighthouse will eventually run permanently. Ono tells the New York Post, "This is an answered prayer because my first time in John's house he talked about building a lighthouse. I never knew how to conceptualise that. I never believed this could be reality. "Someday this tower will be lit 365 days for 24 hours, but for now I'm not pushing it. Forever is a long time." Lennon was shot dead in New York City aged 40 in 1980.

This is an answered prayer because my first time in John's house he talked about building a lighthouse. Weird thing to talk about on a 'first date'. Got to love John!

Yea def. a strange thing to mention on a first date, but it's really sweet that she remembered it.
