I stumbled across a page featuring John's signature on a sheet of Lawson Memorial Hospital headed notepaper.
Despite googling John Lennon autograph Lawson Memorial Hospital nothing comes up. Is this really the only signature ever to turn up on hospital paper, or to have a dirrect link to John's car crash?
The site, called Rockmine, is making out that this may be one of the rarest autographs ever offered for sale in the U.K. Does anyone know how true is this?
Thanks,
John

Thanks, that's interesting. I've never seen or heard about any other autographs from his time in hospital so it probably is very rare (assuming it's a genuine autograph, of course). Sorry I don't really know enough about it to give you a better answer!

Lennon Nurse Note For Sale Jan 20 2008 A PIECE of hospital notepaper signed by John Lennon after a Highland car crash in 1969 has been put up for sale. The scrap of paper - which the injured Beatle signed for a nurse - had been folded away in a biscuit tin for years. Now it has been verified as a record of Lennon's stay at Lawson Memorial Hospital in Golspie, Sutherland. The note was bought by rock archivist Roy Deane, of Coupar Angus, Perthshire, who said: "This is a piece of memorabilia." Lennon's car left the road as he drove with his family to visit his aunt in Durness.
